Saltwash Powder

It's so easy to create old, weathered finishes with Salt Wash Powder!  All-natural, no fumes, no harsh chemicals.  Just mix your favorite paint in with Salt Wash powder until you get a frosting like consistency.  

Use Saltwash to create vintage and old texture on any surface, using any kind of paint.  Or create "Sea Glass" with Salt Wash.  

Use Saltwash to create your own "sea glass".  Mix a little saltwash in with your favorite paint.  You want a very runny-like milk thickness.  Pour into a spray bottle and mist your glass thoroughly.  Allow to dry and repeat if desired.  Finish with your favorite clear topcoat if desired. 

Use Saltwash to create vintage and old textures.  Use a brush to create "peaks" and cover all desired areas or the entire piece.  Allow to dry for a few minutes and smooth over peaks or sharp points. 

Allow to dry completely (30 minutes in warm weather outside, 1-2 hours inside).  Apply 2nd coat of paint, no salt wash, and allow to dry completely.  Use a hand or an electric sander to "knock back" the high points and reveal your beautiful aged finish.
